My family and I stayed at Barnsoul in 2 wigwams and the Little Lodge. There were 6 adults, 2 children and a dog! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of fresh air and space, and good facilities.
We enjoyed a barbecue (bring some bricks) and the fire pit- toasting marshmallows. It was a great way to spend some time together as a family-all 3 generations.
We would definitely visit again.
I do think the site would benefit from a shop, though that did not spoil our stay at all.

I say that because we want to keep the place to ourselves. Having never stayed in a wigwam before, we had a wonderful time. Not having to put a tent up in the rain and a few home comforts meant we were able to have a thoroughly relaxing 4 night stay. Great facilities, beautiful surroundings and far enough away from things to feel secluded. The fire pit is a great addition. No shops nearby so go prepared. Will definitely be back, just hope it doesn't get too popular.

We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back . Stunning countryside , great facilities and the sun shone

We spent 4 nights in a wigwam. It is one of the nicest wigwam sites we have stayed in. Good facilities. Plenty of space for kids to play. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Lots of woods to explore. It is a distance to the nearest shop so be prepared. We hope to return again soon.

We spent last weekend 5/7 - 7/7 at Barnsoul. Welcome was very warm and site was great. Clean tidy, well groomed. Plenty of elec hook ups and water facilities. Shower facilities were very clean and plenty of hot water (which was free) and plenty of washing and cooking facilities. very well looked after. Thank you Elspeth.

Just had 5 nights camping at Barnsoul for the 2013 CTC KM Rally.
Had a great time, the camping field was full, the facilities were great especially the new kitchen. Sorry to see the big stainless sink gone from behind the toilet block…
Lots of sunshine with only 1 day of rain (the bank holiday monday of course!).

Great campsite. Nice clean facilities. Liked the look of the wigwams too. Shame we were in a tent. Had a lovely evening Friday with my lad Alex. He enjoyed exploring the woods and playing football. Rain overnight forced us to abandon ship! We will be back.

So excited to see our new "Little Lodge" sited on the Park.  Too cute for words, perfect accommodation for families with separate bunk area.
